these transformerbook hybrids are always a pain with sound on Linux.
Nothing else I can suggest, sorry.
install retrovol . then possibly yes.
it's a puppy linux tool. research it if it's available elsewhere.
link it here
run whereis make
to see if u have it or not
since they offer no installer, you'll have to put it together yourself. this usually involves git-clone'ing the repo from the github, then following the instructions here:
paths mean that it's installed. the first path is the path and executable. the other is the user manual (man page) for make
this is advanced crap, but if u want to learn it n have time to read well.. then follow the instructions.
dont put home if u use ~
idk where the compiler made the retrolvol executable, but find it
find it and run it.
if it's in userhome, just do cd ~
then ./retrovol
then u can right click in tray
and adjust which 'channel' gets controlled by mousewheel, in your case, PCM
sure
move the retrovol and retrovol.rc file to /usr/local/bin (with root mode permissions, ofc)
or /usr/bin
then add retrovol command to startup apps
the latter
i had a look at the pic u sent, and the make process seems to already have stuck it in the system path anyway
