Hello there, some days ago i´ve started to notice some flickering issues with my linux mint 22 wilma, i have nvidia 580 drivers with a gtx 1660, i tried to downgrade and upgrade but nothing seems to work, each 1 to 2 seconds when im moving the mouse or doing something the frame just drops for a sec. I also tried to boot into windows to see if the error will persist but no, just linux.

Also when drivers are not installed, the flickering disappears.

i'm no expert but have you disabled secure boot? the nvidia drivers can be super buggy if its not turned off

is this a multi-monitor setup?

If so, set all monitors' refresh rates to a common value

Nvidia is garbage and Xorg X11 usually doesn't handle different refresh rates well

yes it is, i have set them up to 60Hz
