i used to use a nvidia 1080 but since changed to radeon 6900 xt but ive run into a problem where if an image is on screen it will stay there even when the source of that image is no gone for example the mint logo that is the background can be visible even when im browsing especially when the image page is black or white i do not know how to fix this. i do not know how to fix this any help would be appreciated

sounds like image persistence

it's similar to screen burn in but it's not permanent

is it showing up even when you're not in the OS? (for example, when the PC first starts booting)
