I live in Belarus. My internet plan is 100 Mbps. Steam downloads are fine, YouTube doesn't lag, and when I download something through the application manager, the speed is 50 KB. If I watch YouTube at the same time, it doesn't lag, nor does Steam and Discord downloads.

Speed highly depends from your connection speed but also from the server's response time

50kb sounds like downloading from the Mint repos in the US from Japan

The first and second servers are selected as optimal with the lowest ping. And the speed doesn't change. I forgot to mention I'm trying to install Flatpak.

Flatpak really uses only 1 server, and that can be slow in some countries sometimes
