i guess i dont have permissions but how
im the only one who has access to this thing, hell
how do i change the orwnership of the folder from root to me?
ok i thought i'd need to use the terminal guess i didnt
You're getting ahead of yourself here.
The root directory is of course, set up like that so people don't go around just dabbling with it.
There likely will be consequences if you do.
But what you're trying to do is alright. Can you get me the filepath of the image?
I'll give you the oneline command to copy it over there.
thank you but i dont need it anymore i just opened the folder as root and changed the permissions
found a guy on youtube who had the exact same problem
im just trying to change the lockscreen and its just a backgrounds folder
i understand some stuff is set up so people dont fuck up their whole entire system but i must admit im starting to get a bit frustrated
part of the process tho i guess , new OS and all
specially linux
having such silly issues
anyways yeah thank you
