Im considering upgrading my current gpu and cpu (gtx 1660 super, ryzen 5 2600) to a ryzen 5 5600 and a 3060 ti. I was wondering if there is anything i should do before doing the change, like wiping old drivers or something like that. If there is something i need to do, what would it be and how do i do it? Thanks

it'll probably blackscreen on reboot, so u'll need to safemode boot

see #1295728709306683482 section 3 of index for nvidia

Thanks. Do i need to wipe old drivers or do anything else apart from that?

maybe later on, but probably driver manager will anyway

#

the CPU should be fine without drivers .

#

it's not a peripheral after all

#

and conforms to x86/amd64

I dont want to bother you too much, but i just want to be sure: Do i do what you said about the manual only if it blackscreens or do i do it even if it boots normally?

if boots normally, then use driver manager. ensure secure boot remains off
