Hello! I just installed Linux Mint for the first time, and am 90% sure I have set up almost everything up correctly.

So the only issue I'm having is that my monitor is stuck at 29.97hz at 1080p and can go to the full 60hz that it supports at 720p. My monitor supports 60hz 1080p, and so does my GTX 1660 TI, and HDMI cable.
Everything worked fine on Windows (saying this as an example) and just isn't on Linux Mint.

I have the latest Kernel, Nvidia Drivers, and everything else.

If it persists, log into wayland by clicking the mountain icon in the login screen, selecting Cinnamon on Wayland and logging in

#

note that's it's experimental and the only keyboard layout for this release is the American one

Aww the first option fixed it. Many thanks.
