Is it ok we can go in a vc?
Because I got a video watched telling me to go into the settings into software sources
how old is the video?
I don't know
Ok
I have asked 3 of my family members and they still confused
you have all the repos, so that's not the issue
just click reload in Synaptic package manager . DO IT NOW
then in "origins" button, select "All" at the very top. Then click SEARCH button, and search for monado
if it exists at all, it'll show up. if not, then that means the video is out of date
get rid of that one
Go to Settings in synaptic
click "Repositories"
find that one on the left in Sources. possibly in "other repos"
and select and REMOVE it
Ok did it
now close the Software Sources window
and let it refresh.
for good measure, you can click Reload in Synaptic as well after.
then try searching for your application there
yeah, click 'mark for installation'
if u found the app named monado
then click the Apply button in the toolbar to do it
if it finished installing, then check your Start menu
Ok
Monado is
an open-source XR (extended reality) runtime for Linux, designed to be an OpenXR implementation that allows VR/AR experiences to run on PCs. It functions as an alternative to other runtimes like SteamVR, providing a core implementation of the OpenXR standard to enable communication between applications and XR hardware. A companion graphical utility, monado-gui, is also available for testing hardware and calibrating cameras
