I have a Dell Inspiron 5110, With the version Mint 21.3 XFCE 64-bit, And as you can see my computer is a bomb and I wanted help to optimize it because I downloaded this Linux thinking it would be lighter than Windows. But I was disappointed because left 4 dead 2 It's crashing on it, something that didn't happen on Windows. So in this case I wanted help to be able to optimize it as much as possible for games, especially Minecraft with mods.

@autumn token linux mint might be too "bloated" for a dell inspiron. try Q4OS, (with tde not kde) antix, puppy linux, and if all else fails try small core linux someone got it working on a late 90's laptop so safe to say it will work
you can also try googling "lightweight linux distros" and a millions results will pop up if those don't work
P.S theres another one called haiku thats been known to work well and a little more modern then the other distros
but thats unix like not linux
