#Dual boot++

I am currently dual booting LM & Win 11 (seperate drives), as I need Win for some game titles. But I'm thinking of doing the majority of my gaming on Linux, but would like it "containerised" from my base Linux system.

Anyone have an opinion on the best way to achieve this? Is it just running another Linux instance on a third drive for gaming (would have to get another drive), or is there a simpler/better way? 😊

(The goal with the containerisation is for that extra bit of security on my main Linux boot)

you'd need a steam library on your linux filesystem.

#

or if not using steam, whatever.

#

the games must live and run on Linux filesystem

#

i dont care dual drive or not. do it.

the root filesystem is read only, so you cannot modify it. To download apps you either use flatpaks or distrobox.
