Hi guys, small thing but really kills the vibe for productivity. My main monitor is listed as monitor 2 in display, but is definitely my primary monitor in the settings. Everytime I open up apps it always opens on my secondary monitor, or monitor 1 in display settings. I for the life of me cant figure out why. Is it a driver issue? I am using NVIDIA drivers installed with the Mint beginners guide.
#Most Applications opening up on secondary monitor

i think it's cuz the OS or motherboard just prioritizes one physical port over another
have you tried in DISPLAYS to 'set as primary' the preferred monitor and drag them around?
as a last resort if the above doesn't do it, use APPLETS, n get Cassia Window List n tweak it
Nothing :/
.
pretty sure it has very distinct options for what apps should open where. You can replace the standard "grouped window list" applet - on both panels, if running dual panel dual monitor - with Cassia list on both
any news on this? @heavy berry Did you try last suggested thing here?
What stunnner said would just change the side of the screen that the mouse cursor teleport to the other monitor
I was talking about the the display settings thing
You need to untick the "set as primary" button and tick it when the red square is selected
and use CASSIA WINDOW LIST APPLET
I want the green monitor to be the primary monitor
Ive been fumbling through this applet and do not understand how it fixes my issue I wont lie, I will watch another tutorial
it should have settings
those settings let u set where applications go when u launch them
Yes so click on the green one
Then check "set as primary"
