I've asked this question across three different Linux related Discords and no one has been able to help.

#

I may have to go back to Windows at this point.

When I tried to disable secure boot it caused Linux Mint to boot to a black screen.

#

I had to reenable it for it to work again.

#

and make simple AT LEAST 9 DIGIT secure boot password

#

and take wayland off. ur in wayland mode

#

also, if this is very old nvidia card, it's out of support. you will have to use the "nouveau" driver in Driver Manager

mild hawk
#

This is a new NVIDIA card.

How do I disable wayland mode? In the login screen?

#

Should I reboot?

#

Gonna reboot. Brb.

#

I enrolled MOK and switched to normal Cinnamon.

Still no driver.

#

I guess I will switch to Cachy OS later this week.

#

The only option is xserver-xorg-video-nouveau.

tawny pilot
#
