I have installed EasyEffects and I have set up the Stereo tools effect with the stereo matrix reversed. When I set Easy Effects Sink as my main output device in KDE plasma settings it works, it's flipped correctly. But the EasyEffects program says the following in the screenshot

You don't need to set easy effects as the default output, it works using your default device.
