#Is it possible to install Gnome and Cinnamon on Linux Mint while keeping separate profiles?

I want some Gnome features that perfectly complement my workspace, but I can't switch to a distro that has Gnome by default. I want and will continue using Linux Mint. So, I'd like to install Gnome as a secondary install, keeping Cinnamon intact, as in two different profiles. Is this possible?

whether you use one user account or two, it should work either way. use the chooser circle in the login screen

yep

#

or just make a timeshift snapshot right now, INCLUDING hidden home folder stuff in the preferences of timeshift

#

then u can just restore back to it.

#

(delete all your browser caches for space savings on that backup)

#

Bleachbit helps.

#

you can also comment the snapshot so u know in future.

#

since it's a manually invoked one, it wont get overwritten by scheduled timeshift saves

So it's something simple?
