I am on Linux mint 22.1, and I am having issues setting my G923 up on my PC. I was planning to use it for simracing, and according to oversterr, it should have been no issues (I do note it isnt guaranteed to work, but they stated the wheel itself should work with default drivers within the Kernel since Linux 6.3) and I have linux kernel 6.8.0-71-generic
altho my System reports do correctly recognice, that the wheel is plugged in via USB port
but no input from the wheel is recieved

Logitech G923 (Xbox) not working
Found something here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/linux_gaming/comments/vb0b37/g29g923_users_correct_guide_to_install_logitech/
and here:

Worth trying those, but you should make a Timeshift snapshot before you do, so you can roll back any weirdness that may ensue.
sudo usb_modeswitch -v 046d -p c26d -M 0f00010142 -C 0x03 -m 01 -r 01
gonna just paste that in incase any new users have problem, that command helped me
PS.: apperantly it has to be used everytime you plug the wheel in
If that solved it, feel free to mark as solved. Or keep testing, whatever you think is right.
imma test some games first, before officially marking as 'solved'
