The problem is simple. Most windows games from Steam don't even boot up. I'm using Proton Hotfix and Doki Doki Literature Club is the only game that runs. I've tried to open Steam in the terminal and copied everything from the moment I booted the game until it crash. My PC is also not so powerful but the game I'm tying to run runned perfectly on Windows at the time. I'm using Linux Mint 22.1.
P.S. Sorry for my English.

use Proton Experimental, hotfix is only good for when nothing else works
Sorry I didn't notice your message here's the results
I think this is error that stops all
PermissionError: [Errno 1] Operation not permitted: '/home/francesco/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Proton - Experimental/files/lib/wine/x86_64-windows/wmplayer.exe' -> '/media/francesco/PENNA USB/SteamLibrary/steamapps/compatdata/1999360/pfx/drive_c/Program Files/Windows Media Player/wmplayer.exe'
Ok solved
Apparently the problem is the partition of my HDD
I use a 1TB HDD to play games and it's partiton is exfat. Apparntly if you have the game and/or Protnon on exfat the game won't boot up
Yep you want it in EXT4 format or you can move your games in your Steam Library section individually to your Linux drive, then back when you're done.
