See audio applet in Panel, or see Audio section in settings.
Sorry if that's vague, I'm not using Cinnamon.
That's in the sound applet? Or in the settings? Can you get me a screenshot of what you're interacting with?
Nothing in input?
Sorry, can't help you further with this.
I'll ask some of the volunteers and see if they could get back to you.
Does easy effects offer anything?
Sorry I also do not know
See if you need any additional firmware outside linux-firmware
is it this type of thing?
plug it into a different USB port now, then use terminal command : inxi -Axxx and show
also install pavucontrol and open it, and stetch it wide so you see all its tabs
in the configuuration tab, find the usb device. make sure to use a profile that says 'duplex'
wtaf is that??
(what the actual fuck)!
shouldn't the round part be FEMALE?
what is THE INTENDED PURPOSE of that cable or what you're trying to do?
@rapid halo
and now?
what are you trying to do with it?
you can't use it for output. think about it hard.
it's not bi-directional.
it is a analog-to-digital converter for instrument-level signal to USB. ONE WAY
unless the effects thing also puts out instrument-level line
and the signal is that direction: from pedal to PC
anyway do the commands i said n show
show what i asked
the first one especially
just use a line-out 3.5mm cord from pc output to 1/4 inch male
into effects board/peddle. if u intend audio things from pc to go that direction
get splitter cable then
being REAL private with the details eh? well good luck finding help being that way
idk sry
get a usb DAC thing
digital to audio analog
it has to be a DAC if ur gonna use the USB of PC and research it first to have excellent linux support before even thinking about a purchase
naturally this cable ADC shows as a mic. that's a uni-directional thing. analog going IN to the PC
