#On Grub I get Linux mint Windows and Ubuntu??

you may have had some old (or current) Mint /'buntu install
if you're sure (1000%) there's only 2 OS living on your drive or drives, then sudo update-grub will adjust itself accordingly
my advice is TEST BOTH that u see now.
the linuxmint entry AND the ubuntu entry. and if and when you enter their desktop , do inxi -S in terminal each time and note the precise info.
will do that real quick

they both link to load the same thing it seems
yep boot 0002 is the current and valid entry
just leave it.
soooo
i am stuck with an extra button?
is it possible to hide it at least?
you could try the boot repair app from the live usb but it'll reset ur grub theme
if it's bugging u let the boot repair tool fix it
would you mind telling me why it happened when i put my theme?
because before it, it was working ....
then set grub to the way this page shows near bottom and done. https://linuxmint-user-guide.readthedocs.io/en/latest/grub.html
i see
i will try check if its possible to at least hide that boot option
also as a side note @sharp token Thanks to u and the community i am finally dual booting
and my linux experience hs been surely full of dumb mistakes but its fun lol
too much to learn
