I'm running Foobar2000 on WINE without any tweaks, installed the Free Encoder Pack and an SoX resampler, so far has worked fine from what I can see. I was using it to convert 24-bit, 96KHz audio to 16-bit, 44.1KHz using the components mentioned above. It hasn't spit out any errors, and from listening, seems like the audio wasn't butchered in any way.
Would it still be alright to keep doing this? There's likely a CLI version that could do it that is arguably safer to do natively but I have some parameters already set up and would like to just keep using Foobar2K if there isn't really any underlying issues.
