open Timeshift app from menu, and use it to delete old snapshots, save just one or two of the most recent KNOWN-TO-WORK system.
and also go into its Preferences/setup, and adjust the frequency to only weekly , saving 2.
or turn off scheduled automatic snapshots (not really recommended though)
also 30 GB is small. If you can have a second drive (even a spare USB drive, like 64 GB for example) you can format it to BTRFS or ext4, and tell Timeshift you want to put snapshots THERE instead. (then move the ones from ur 30 GB HD to the spare drive)
I do NOT recommend ruining your bootable live usb that has Mint ISO on it, because that is handy for emergency boots/repairs.
I have 2 spare usb of 128GB
I will try and create the time shift back up there thanks
The spare usb that I have is formatted in exfat which I think Linux does support should I download GParted and change the partition? And if yes to what
you can use DISKS app to delete exfat partition, then click + and redo as ext4
Can't I use GParted to create the ext4
