When installing, it is better to leave unallocated storage rather than creating a partition. Mint will handle the partitioning automatically

unfortunalty on my laptop i only have one sata ssd. so i have to make a partition to not remove windows

so i need to unpartition my partition? when going to install it says anything on the drive will be wipped to install mint?
