can't do it.
You can on Mint Cinnamon, any KDE Plasma distro (MX linux KDE, Kubuntu, Q4OS KDE) , or with Bodhi Linux.
I found something that might be helpful
to increase the volume past 100% using pactl set-sink-volume in XFCE, you can directly specify a percentage higher than 100%. For example, the command pactl set-sink-volume 0 150% will set the volume of the sink with index 0 to 150%
