I have been using mint for past few months but now its not booting up, it displays this error MMIO WRITE OF FAULT.
system but can be booted through recovery mode and also seems to boot if nouveau is disabled.
is there any permanent solution to this?

hi mush.. i was able to solve this issue recently as another person had the same issue as well
