SOLVED - Live boot from USB launches Grub command line

Hi all.

Weird problem that I haven’t come across before. I have a laptop that I plan to remove windows from to install mint.

I’ve booted from USB a number of times on this machine for various things, including setting up dual boot, or running clonezilla etc

But now, I just boot to the grub command line and can’t get any further than that.

Any ideas why this is and what I can do to fix it?

Ignore me - I was selecting the wrong option at boot up, looks like I have an old Ubuntu entry in grub, and I selected that instead of the usb stick!
