I just did a routine update via the update manager and im greeted by a black screen no blinking cursor no anything just nothing

After a bit of time on this vlack screen my gpu light also turns off as well

I have a 6900xt and was on the 6.11 kernel and have been since i initially installed mint never had any problems before this

Ok i dont know how but after booting into the mint live cd and rebooting a couple times it finally just let me through? Ill keep your advice in mind if it seems to break again but also ill take this a caution to actually use timeshift 😅. thanks!
