Hello everyone,

are you using Unity3D for work on linux mint? I am trying to migrate all of our (company's) projects but they either have bad performance (under openGL) or they do not open at all (crash under vulkan). I have an RTX3070 and I think that the nvidia drivers could also be an issue. I tried with 550 and 570 (open kernel) nvidia driver versions but the issue persists.

My smaller, personal, projects (not many packages outside Unity's, simpler shaders and materials) seem to all work just fine.

Has anyone managed to work with larger scale projects with Unity3D on an Nvidia card on Linux mint without issues? Do you have any suggestions on the matter?

Thank you all for your time and assistance!

It is a weird situation. Unity as well as Nvidia seem to blame each other on this. I will test rolling the drivers back to an older version and repost here.

I am dropping official discussion links for others with the same issue to follow as well:
