I am currently on linux mint with xfce4, cinnamon and gnome DE's.
I am running UEFI CSM with the disk being GPT
I have had mint in the past with LEGACY, and it booted in the boot menu.
Now that i am on UEFI CSM.. No matter how much i smash my f12 or delete keys, the computer will not boot into bios nor boot-menu.
My F_ Keys are true f keys and output f1 to f12 and not functions

run systemctl reboot --firmware-setup in Terminal in your Linux Mint, this reboots usually into the Bios Automatically so dont touch anything until you see your BIOS.

#

systemctl reboot --firmware-setup

also google TWO keys you should know for your own computer brand/type:

  • boot menu key
  • enter BIOS key
#

make sure if they are Function keys (F key) that you're getting true F1-F12 as some keyboard require Fn to be pressed or Fn lock may be on, and giving u other functions
