#.NET was working but then stopped working

Spent an hour and a half or so with a guy and we fucked around with ways to get .NET working on my PC but then the next I went to open VS it no longer works.

Did you use Wine to install actual .NET, or did you install the Mono runtime? Because that is a Linux implementation of .NET you could also try.

I didn't use wine so I would assume the latter
