#Linux Mint wont install properly

I'm new to linux, and when I try to install Mint (22.1 Cinnamon; world Cicku), it shows up as mint while loading, but boots into Ubuntu 24.04.1 and without a way to install mint into the drive. video here

remake your usb stick live installer as shown here: #1295816480256163892 message

against the sha256 sum on linuxmint website near the download area mirrors. checksum must match.

boot the usb in normal mode once verified, up to the Mint live desktop. completely clean wipe your hdd or ssd as shown here #1349142711898476657 message with gparted.

make sure to choose proper drive to wipe, of course. then run the installer icon on desktop
