there was a reddit post that outlined it better but reddit destoyed the post by filtering it out because reddit is just trying to destroy itself

after a bunch of reading it seems to be no not really at least not without having to keep some backup keys for arch itself and the grub boot loader your linux options just become fedora redhat or ubuntu more or less because they come pre signed or switch to systemd boot and manually setup a a custom platform key for it
