hello,

I am completely new to Linux and wanted to try Linux mint.
I have installed it already. while it was installing it did not ask for me to connect to a wifi network, and now that I have it installed, there is no menu for me to connect to a wifi network. it's like making me have to manually put in the ssid or something, there is no menu of nearby wifi networks to connect to. how can I get the wifi menu with a list of nearby wifi?

update: the issue is fixed. I don't know what exactly fixed it, but I restarted my laptop and the wifi works now
