So I wiped my hard drive by repartitioning it, as I wanted a complete fresh start on my PC. Now Steam will not read my hard drive, and I am unable to download any games.

yep

#

once rebooted, do lsblk -f to see where you will find your drive. note the mountpoint.

#

maximize the terminal first

#
  • lsblk (list block storage)

no. maximize the terminal. press the up arrow, and rerun that command

#

nvm it's all there. just set ur steam libray to use that location listed as the mountpoint

#

u can visit same location in file manager and bookmark it too. then rename the bookmark on the side to something nicer
