#should i switch to ubuntu/linux mint?

That's more of a personal preference
Personally I prefer linux mint
But ubuntu has support for more DEs
And Linux mint is built on top of ubuntu
if u have EXTREMELY new motherboard, then ubuntu cinnamon 25.04
or even kubuntu 25.04 or straight old flagship version of it which is gnome
Why did you straight up suggest ubuntu stunner
i meant should i switch to linux not either one of these
if u have some burning need to
I just switched out of curiosity. I had no reason.
if u want to just try it out, while retaining some customizations, use the Rufus flasher on an inexpensive USB, and drag its "Persistence" slider feature up a few gigs
then u'll have a live usb that run indepenently, and lets u experiment a bit. but mind u dont rely on persist feature to install MASSIVE applications or games.
small packages, sure
yes, i know
i like to experiment with linux and if sonething goes wrong you can just reinstall it without lots and lots of setup like windows
Yea so you already have experience with linux. Now it's upto you if you wanna switch or not.
