@summer gust
k im checking
install the flatpak "Resources"
to see which gpu is actually doing work rn
i think it's the AMD
if u want the nvidia one fulltime, u should have a small Prime applet in the system tray that lets u set that
test with a high framerate youtube vid or a website made to do online realtime workhard tests for gpu
n keep an eye on Resources app as u do
Will do
u should be able to put the nvidia one to higher refresh. maybe not as high as u quoted, but idk
Just as a FYI I can not select 360hz at all currently, but let me come back to you, I can put the Dell monitor to 240hz currently
loaded: amdgpu,nouveau unloaded: fbdev,modesetting,vesa __failed: nvidia__```
I c
do inxi -M what's the UEFI/BIOS date?
23/07/24
And recommended is 6.11?
Let me test that
can always roll back cuz it doesnt delete the current one on its own
eh I guess 6.11 is stable enough 😛
after reboot, rerun that same first command. u should be able to see modes listed
and some dp ports shown as 'active'
sure
No worries, so it still says N/A
I had some problems with multi monitor with different refresh rates, the problem was the DPI cable
I got displayport, and it has not been an issue on arch linux
can try Ubuntu 25.04. it has very recent Linux kernel.
any news with this, @grim willow ?
Yeah did not really work regardless, so went with Arch, since that for some reason has it working
