I want to switch from Windows to Linux, but the only issue holding me back is Altium Designer, which only runs on Windows. Is there any way to run it on Linux with good performance? Or is a dual boot setup the way to go in this case?

Altium Designer 25 Wine compatibility is rated as Garbage. WineDB shows nothing I could be confident of. I suggest doing a dual boot setup.
