Sorry I was doing something before and I might have completely got rid of Linux
I was duo boot Linux and I was add more space to Linux from my hard drive and it might have got rid of everything

sudo apt update && sudo apt install synaptic from terminal once you're back up.
mintinstall is the name of the Software Manager package. if it's still acting up, close it, fire up synaptic, and search that package and see if you can update it.
