The only reason I'm still using a Windows VM every now and then is because of MediaMonkey, a music player which doesn´t work on linux (also not with wine). I don't need anything fancy in a music player except one thing, it has to have an android app and let me sync my music on pc to my phone. Does anyone know of a player that runs on Linux and has this functionality?

You could use Syncthing-Fork on your android (receive only) and Syncthing (send only) on your pc to sync your music. And use any music player you want.
I personally use Tauon, but you could use MusicBee or foobar2000 (on wine)

i'd rather not use wine
