I have a Asus Vivobook S14 with these config:
- i5 12500H
- 16 GB RAM
- 500 GB SSD
- BIOS mode: UEFI
- I have a laptop with only one single SSD.
I first tried and then clicked on the install option.
I followed the process and install Linux mint in an unallocated disk partition.
I allocated 30GB of storage.
My installation was this:
- installation type: Primary
- ext4
- root at "/"
Boot Priority
- Ubuntu
- Windows boot manager
In my Laptop, secure boot and fast boot was already disabled.
Also, I didn't choose the "Install alongside Windows" option. I choose "Something else...", and then selected the unallocated partition.
The problem is that when I boot my PC, press "esc" while booting, it shows three option:
- Windows boot Manager
- Ubuntu
- Enter setup (takes to UEFI BIOS setting)
When I go to the "Ubuntu", nothing happens. It just keep showing the same screen.
When I first installed Linux Mint, I did not switch to it directly, but first went to windows to check if it working properly, and nothing happened to it.
Then I shut off from windows and tried to go to Linux mint, but stuck at selecting which OS to go (in the 1st image).
Please Help! What to do Now?
