#Battery drain after shift

in the systray on Mint, there should be a power profiles icon. set it to 'powersave' when on battery
can also check Settings: Power management for putting system into 'suspend' (sleep) sooner when idle
and for turning screen off sooner when idle: (see screensaver in Mint start menu search)
can also run the terminal command inxi -Cxx every once in a while to keep an eye on the average cpu clock frequency
note its minimum, and maximum capable values.
I'll check that out, but is it good if active profile is on Nvidia On demand?
Or do I shift to Intel power saving
