is there some kind of archive for old linux versions (Linux mint, Ubuntu, etc,)?
I know there is archive.org, but there the download are very slow

on linuxmint.com, choose Download header, then "all versions"

nope. their download links to older ISOs only bring me to the main Linux mint download page
