#App for displaying live RAM Usage?

A long time ago I customized Linux to show ram usage at the bottom left of my screen (on taskbar). But I since forgot how to do that.

eg. showing 14/16gb on bottom left of my taskbar.

I assume it must have been through an applet or some sort of customized function.

If anyone can recommend me a good solution, I would highly appreciate!

There are system monitor applets if you’re using cinnamon. Likely a similar thing for KDE. Otherwise you can put it on a system bar such as polybar or waybar.

on Cinnamon: Settings: Applets> add/download > search for system monitor applets

on KDE: right click panel: Add Widgets, search for monitoring Widgets

on XFCE: right click panel: add items> click + , search for monitoring item

Every applet i look at it says it can cause Cinnamon to freeze or crash, and gives me a warning icon for it
