I have both but just wanna ask im new to linux meaning im noob at it and i dont know any history or any coding stuff or any customizations i can do to linux,someone i know has linux (i use linux mint) and he installed HTOP to check stuff and BTOP i just figured it out with what i saw him doing
sudo apt install HTOP
Sudo apt install BTOP

btop is just a bit more elaborate with things it displays. Htop wont show disk use or network traffic, btop is fine if you prefer terminal-based multifeatured monitor instead of the included graphical "System Monitor" which shows processes, resources, and disk use across three tabs
