First time poster. Giving Linux Mint a try since my Desktop is too old for Windows 11.
Running into a really weird issue where all applications, especially video playback, start getting laggy/ sluggish after maybe an hour or 2 of use. Rebooting the system fixes it every time. I have a low end AMD GPU. I can see GPU and VRAM values spike on radeontop when playing YouTube videos immediately after power up. This doesn't happen an hour later. Feels like Mint avoids using the GPU altogether.
What am I doing wrong?
