#What do I do with appimages on Linux Mint

Install appimagelauncher
I tried but the repo isn’t compatible with Mint 22.1
Should I just do a direct install?
Hold on
Yea, just be careful
you may make a folder to hold any appimage in home folder typically
I just create launchers on desktop pointing to the appimage I want to start. Give the launcher an icon, and done.
this solution kinda sucked ngl
i just used this app from the software manager called "pin it"
it worked decently well
You can also try an app called gear lever in software manager
Yeah, gearlever is what I would recommend for sure
Okay gear lever is pretty good lol
What i do is i make ~/AppImages/ and then put my appimages in there. Then i go to menu editor, add item, point to the appimage, give it an icon, and then you can put on start, panel, etc.
Ofc that's the easiest way, but i think op wanted a soln that does it for them
