#Is arch good for gaming

If you want a "gaming" distro, then try Bazzite. Arch is "good", but so is any other distro and Arch is very prone to breaking, so you'll need to know how to find problems and fix them yourself.
For a user, Bazzite is very similar to SteamOS and is designed to be very great for gaming. Nobara is another great choice
steamOS is arch
All linux distros run the same games perfectly
It depends more on the software u are using within linux to run said games
Go with bazzite, fedora, linux mint or endeavour os (if u want smthin arch based)
And then install game loader of ur choice like steam, bottles, lutris, etc
All should give similar performance
I heard that nobara is a good distro for gaming, I'ma try that
Sure
I've been using since the start of the year, it's less of a hassle for some things like programs versions, mangohud and gamemode was way easier to install and configure.
I heard that its way easier to game on arch, and I have watched a vid where a guy made playing diablo 4 possible on the battle.net launcher, he played WoW, he used steam proton to launch the launcher js so yk.
Since arch is mean’t to give users lots of customization, you’ll have to do a lot of configuring. Arch is supported alot by devs and the rolling release model will help for stuff like drivers. I hear Endeavour OS is pretty good for an Arch-based distro without the extra hassle.
You can play steam and battle net on any distro. That part doesn’t matter.
I will use core arch tbh, not endeavour
Alright. If you understand what you’re getting yourself into go ahead.
Archinstall all the wayđź—ż
