Hello.
I accidentally unplugged my USB too soon after using the "safely remove" function. (Had a dyslexic moment where I unplugged when it said do not unplug).

What is a solution in Linux Mint I can use to verify my USB's files and ensure nothing got corrupted then?
Everything seems fine on the surface, but I would like to check.

Go to Disks app, select your Drive. Click the cog/gear icon and select Check Filesystem...

Select Partition 1, not the Free Space. That's where your files are at.

If there's something wrong with the filesystem, it will likely prompt you to repair it.

thats the thing. selecting to safely eject writes a file or something

Pretty much same terms

The former is more often used on Windows

#

Unlike as it seems, eject is not a forced termination of connection with the device
