#Nintendo pro controller not working on linux

I tried to install joycond and pricing drivers, non of them work.
When I use Everest the device shows up but when a make any input it says "expected 24, got -1". When I connect it via usb, briefly connects and then disconnects. Inputs never manage to get through.
It works perfectly on windows, so I think it's a Linux issue. Any solutions?
