#Fusion 360 running on Mint (How do i install WebView2 on Mint?)

That's Microsoft stuff. You will have to create the necessary environment through Wine/Bottles. There are guides for this on the Internet.
Or you use the snap version:
https://snapcraft.io/fusion360
Which comes with caveats, but can be used on Mint, instructions at the end of the warning:
https://linuxmint-user-guide.readthedocs.io/en/latest/snap.html
here is a recent discussion of others trying to and somewhat resolving this issue https://www.reddit.com/r/Fusion360/comments/162to7t/whats_the_current_state_of_fusion_360_on_linux/
the least crappy solution seems to involve snap
you can also run it in a vm but you may in fact deal with a lack of graphical acceleration that might be problematic with this app
If you are planning on using it for work, to learn to ultimately use it for work or another important reason it may be worth running it in the native expected environment
okay so im going to use the snap version
and right now its installing
i manged to install it but the login thingy doenst work
and i cant even open it again
Do you intend to use this for work?
no
webview doesn't work on proton
im using the snap version rn
also you should try installing fusion on bottles
since bottles already has the fusion installer https://usebottles.com/app/#fusion
basically it will install necessary stuff for fusion automatically
so i have installed fusion360 in bottles
and its not working
bottles just give me a "Launching Autodesk Fusion" notfication and nothing else happens
sorry for responding too late but, what runner are you using on bottles?
soda
does it work if you use sys-wine instead of soda?
can you try launching the autodesk fusion's .exe manually?
also make sure to enable the "execute in terminal" checkmark in bottles so we can get the logs
how would i do it manuallly
like i get the fusionclient installer.exe and run it thru bottels?
yes, but make sure you have those dependecies installed
Hi! I have a similar issue here (sorry for dig the forum). Basically I have this showing up almost every time I try opening Fusion, and when I try logging in on the Autodesk website and click on the Go to product button, nothing happens. Did anyone have a similar issue? How can I fix it? Cause I've tried looking for a solution on the GitHub page, but I haven't found one yet and it's getting exhausting
I have this window showing up when I click the button, and I don't know how to fix that
