#Display settings breaks when clicking on the recommended driver?

So it uses the open-source driver by default. then i heard that the open-source one is typically slower for games. but when i then switch to the nvidia-driver-550 it breaks the display settings and zooms everything weirdly in

if u want to use proprietary drivers, u need to disable SB in bios

But then i cant dual boot into windows 11? im pretty sure thats an requirement

or use nouveau only

or compile the nvidia driver with secure signature to work with the exact current linux kernel to keep sb on
