ok so this is because when you manually defined the partitions, you didn't select any of them to function as the file system root. aka mounted at /
Create one root partition
File system: ext4
Mount point: /
Yup
Isn't there any other partitions?
Also check if storage is using MBR partition table style or GPT
GPT requires EFI partition along root /

Do you have any hdd or ssd on that pc?
close the installer. Open the DISKS app from the start menu: Accessories. if the internal drive isn't shown, then you have to go in BIOS and turn off RST and/or VMD (look up those terms in google)

- also if Storage mode in BIOS says RAID, switch it off, put AHCI mode
